Course Description
The goal of these printmaking sessions is to introduce students to an assortment of techniques and materials involved in printmaking. Using both paper and textiles We will cover a variety of techniques creating works on both paper and fabrics. You may take just one class or all six! Try a variety of methods and have fun. The first session will be an overview of materials and techniques covered over the next several sessions. I will go over a variety of printing methods, show materials for projects we will cover. Materials will be provided however students can opt to bring additional supplies depending on their personal interests. We will also tailor the sessions to reflect the learning goals of the participants. The following outline is a suggestion but may be modified at my discretion based on student feedback and pacing!
