When you earn a digital badge you demonstrate that you have, “competencies, skills, and learning outcomes derived from assessment-based, non-degree activities that align to specific, timely needs in the workforce.”  - Online and Professional Education Association (UPCEA)

Harper College Community Education is committed to providing you with the tools you need to reach your professional goals. One of the most exciting trends in career training these days is the digital badge movement. Now, certain courses and training programs will earn a  badge that you can proudly display in your resume, in an email to a potential employer, or in your social media profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook and elsewhere.

Badges go beyond just the title. Prospective employers and others interested in you can learn about the skills developed in earning your badge. This more detailed information helps them understand specifically what you did to earn that badge and what you can contribute as a result.
