LAG0010 - Essentials Oils for Pet Professionals
As a pet professional you encounter stressed pets. When therapeutic grade Essential Oils (EOs) are used properly, they are a very safe and effective modality that may be used alone or in conjunction with other techniques to ease anxiety and promote wellness. The safety and effectiveness of an EO will depend greatly on its quality and how it is used. As with medications, the strength (purity) of the oil, the amount per dose, the frequency of dosage, and the route of administration will all play a role in its effect. Essential oil selection, concerns, and use of some of the more common EOs in our four legged companions will be discussed. Pet parents are welcome. All participants will receive a free "Zyto Scan" (to help identify essential oils and/or supplements that may be beneficial) and take home samples for their pets! Please do NOT bring a pet to class.
