Course Description

This program looks at this popular trend, beginning with a historical perspective and reviewing the latest studies. Research will be reviewed on Intermittent fasting for weight loss, as well as the Fasting-Mimicking Diet, and the Nobel-prize winning studies on fasting and aging. 
Concepts of chrono-nutrition and the connection between our body clocks and weight management will be clarified so students will leave understanding the potential health benefits and possible hazards of fasting and the pluses and minuses of various fasting plans.
