Course Description

This week-long camp for middle-schoolers, will dive into the engineering design process, career opportunities, basic 3D modeling software, 3D printing, programming, and machine learning. Students will learn to think and design like an engineer by utilizing the engineering process to design a roller coaster using pipe insulation, marbles, and objects within the room. Additional activities will include designing and printing a 3D model, creating wearable electronics, experimenting with machine learning/computer vision, and competing in engineering challenges. The IDEAShop Engineering Explorers camp is perfect for young and creative minds who have an interest in engineering.
