Course Description

This ensemble explores and performs repertoire from standard chamber music literature, folk melodies, compositions, and arrangements from various musical cultures around the globe. It is open to ages 15 and above studying the violin, viola, cello, or piano. It offers a unique platform for encouraging musicians to improve their musicianship while making new friends! Examples of chamber formations include a string duet, trio, quartet, and a piano trio, quartet, and quintet.  The ensemble performs at Harper College’s Performing Arts Center, with Dr. Chia-Ying Hsu as director.
