Course Description

This introductory course develops listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French. It introduces students to cultures and people of the French-speaking world. It is designed for students with no previous experience with French. All students who have prior experience with or have taken classes in French should consult with Professor Linda Schumacher at LSchumac@harpercollege.edu for appropriate course placement and for further information. 

This is a credit bearing class taught by Harper College faculty that is offered through Community Education. You will not take exams, receive a grade or credit.

This is an online course requiring the use of several online platforms. Synchronous (real time interactive) sessions with the instructor may be expected. These sessions will be recorded and made available as needed. You must have access to a computer with reliable Internet access, web cam, microphone, and basic computer skills to successfully complete this course.
