After the recording sessions are complete, the last step is to create the final track. In this class you will work with previously recorded material, often the material you recorded in Level II. Learn the fundamental principles of good mixing while you get hands-on experience processing the sound on a digital audio workstation, blending and balancing the final mix. You will also discuss effects processors including reverb, delay, limiting, and other time and amplitude processors. Finally, there will be a discussion on mastering. This is the third and final class in the sequence to complete the Sound Recording Certificate program. PREREQUISITE: Sound Recording II: Recording Techniques or equivalent experience.
