Course Description

Continue strengthening your German skills with this interactive and communication-focused class. Attention is given to speaking, listening, reading, and writing to further develop your skills for use in real-life scenarios. This course includes the study of the cultures and customs of German-speaking regions and German fairy tales. Students at this level have normally completed at least 2 semesters of college German instruction or the equivalent. Students who have prior German experience or have taken classes in German at other schools must contact Professor Jaeger at kjaeger@harpercollege.edu for appropriate course placement before registering.

This is a flex course, meaning it may be taken in person and/ or online live. Flex (in-person and online live) class sessions take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45-7:25pm in L-323 and online. These sessions will be recorded and made available to students. You must have access to a computer with reliable internet access, web cam, and microphone, and have basic computer skills if you choose to participate online. Students may move in and out of the two modes based on learning preferences and/ or their life circumstances, but are encouraged to attend in person, if possible.
