Course Description

You will further development your reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in German. Use more complex grammar structures, fine-tune pronunciation, gain more skill in composition, and continue to expand your vocabulary. Attention is given to complexity, accuracy, and fluidity. You will gain expanded knowledge of and appreciation for the cultural heritage and history of German-speaking areas. Students enrolled in this class will receive all of the instruction and complete the activities that for-credit students engage in but will not be required to take quizzes or exams and will not be graded. All students who have prior experience or have taken classes in German at other schools must take the placement exam before registering for a course. Instructions and information can be found at http://bit.ly/harperlanguagesplacement. Contact Prof. Jaeger at kjaeger@harpercollege.edu with questions about placement or the course.
