Course Description

This language course enhances listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while exploring cultures of the German-speaking world.

If you have prior experience in German classes, contact Professor Jaeger at kjaeger@harpercollege.edu to determine the appropriate class for your skill level.

This is a flex course, meaning you may choose to attend class in-person and/or online live. Flex class sessions take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45-7:25pm in L-323 and online.

You may choose your best way to attend class, but you're encouraged to attend in person, if possible. Your computer must have reliable internet access, a web cam, and a microphone, if you choose to participate online. These sessions will be recorded and made available for your review.


 

 

Notes

Students enrolled in this class will receive all of the instruction and complete the activities that for-credit students engage in but will not be required to take quizzes or exams and will not be graded.

The textbook with an online component is used for GER 101, 102, and 201 at Harper and is available for purchase via Harper Store online.

Students with prior experience should consult Professor Kim Jaeger for placement - (kjaeger@harpercollege.edu) before registration. Co-listed with GER102-XC1.
