This 12-week course, 2014 National Electrical Code-Commercial Electrical Inspector (E2) and Electrician Class, will introduce students to the fundamental code requirements for proper installation of electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The test preparation class will provide students with a firm foundation of electrical equipment, materials and installation techniques that will assist the students with gaining knowledge necessary to take the Commercial Electrical Inspector Certification Exam offered by the International Code Council (ICC). The instructor will identify and discuss general requirements of installations, services, bonding and grounding, wiring methods, hazardous locations, health care, swimming pools and more.
The class will also include an array of practice tests, and multiple timed comprehensive exams and an expanded guide of applicable code sections pertinent for the final exam. All students will be encouraged to test for ICC Commercial Electrical Inspector Certification (E2).
