LAH0004 - NLN Pre-Entrance Exam Preparation

Course Description

Prepare for the National League of Nursing (NLN) pre-entrance exam (PAX) in this review course. The NLN PAX exam is required for students seeking admission to many Health Career programs across the state of Illinois. This exam prep course is taught by content experts from Sylvan Learning Centers who will review the verbal, math, and science sections of the exam, as well as provide support with test taking strategies.

There are 2 modality options for this course. Choose the section/date that is most appropriate for your schedule and learning style:

Live-online (synchronous) format held via Zoom. You will need to have a working computing device, modern web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, etc.), and a stable Internet access in order to access your course remotely. You will be contacted by your instructor 2-3 days in advance of the course with participation details.
Self Study format where you learn at your own pace. The initial meeting is mandatory and will be held online live on Zoom. Students will receive files, access to course recordings, and will access guidance from instructor on how to get started with a guided learning plan. You will be contacted by your instructor 2-3 days in advance of the course with details.
