Course Description

In this four-week course, you will learn the basics of hand-lettering and pointed pen calligraphy with the objective of crafting your own calligraphy style to use in digital designs. During the first two sessions, the instructor will focus on calligraphy and making sure your projects look great in print. In the last two sessions, you will utilize the Makerspace and learn how to convert your projects into digital files that can be laser cut, engraved, or printed on objects.

This class is perfect for those interested in incorporating calligraphy into their home, event, or even making objects to sell or gift to others.

Delaina Doshi is a visual artist and trained calligrapher. She has been practicing modern lettering for over 8 years, specializing in wedding and event calligraphy. She loves incorporating calligraphy into events in unique ways with surprising materials.
