Course Description

At age 95 the master of modernism and premiere architect of the digital age perfected his dramatically different architectural viewpoint by studying innovators from the past including Chicago's Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright. Guided by Chicago architectural tour guide, Jerome M. O'Connor, view the latest works from Gehry's whimsical world of irregularly shaped concave and convex panels, sinuous tubular models, and soaring sails and clouds. Special emphasis on the Los Angeles Disney Music Center, New World Center in Miami Beach and Chicago's own Pritzker Pavilion.
