Course Description

You may be surprised that the body’s energy systems change with the seasons! Let Qigong help your body adjust to the change from Spring to Summer in this workshop. We will focus on our Heart System. The summer is about action, enjoyment, and getting things done, and we need our Heart System strong to enjoy it to the fullest. This system regulates light, heat, metabolism, and how energy is transformed in the body. We will do a moving Qigong practice, gentle meditation, and introduce techniques specifically focused on strengthening this system. This is open to all levels. You may bring a meditation pillow for sitting or laying on as well as a light blanket. Yoga mats provided.
