Course Description

Americans are moving more towards plant-based meals, but they don’t want to move into the kitchen! Worried that preparing healthy food means more effort and less time for your preferred activities? Joan Davis, RN and self-admitted reluctant cook, will present the reassuring message that cooking plant-based need not involve excessive time in preparing and cooking those plant-based foods. Helpful tools, plant-based food alternatives, and cooking tips will be reviewed with numerous resources and recipes. Students will leave feeling confident they get in and out of the kitchen while still mastering plant based cooking.
