LEI0131 - Still Life Photography
Course Description
In still-life photography, you create an image with almost complete control over lighting, mood, and composition. Because the photographer directly influences the image creation process, still-life photos reflect the creativity and style of the photographers themselves. For this reason, you can end up with a unique and creative series of images. The class will discuss photographic equipment, lighting styles, and subject matter and explore photographers who are well-known for their still photography work. Each session will include a group critique, a study of styles, and a compelling weekly assignment.
