Course Description
Our instrumental music program is tailored to accommodate the various abilities of all our students, regardless of age and/or interest. We offer lessons for students starting at age 5 all the way to seniors and from complete beginners to those who are on their way into becoming accomplished musicians. Conveniently scheduled after school hours for children and at any time for adults, our students discover a variety of classical and traditional instruments and receive an unparalleled level of instruction from handpicked instructors. Students have two optional opportunities to perform in solo recitals over the course of the year; one recital takes place at the end of the Fall Semester, and another at the end of the Spring Semester. Also available are a variety of ensembles which engage students in playing music together, an essential skill for all musicians.

The Preparatory Piano Program
The program consists of a combination of group and private instruction for ages 6-14. Group lessons offer students peer reinforcement, social interaction, ensemble experience, and group activities. Private lessons give students the necessary individual attention for technical development and interpretive and expressive insights. By combining these two approaches, students receive a comprehensive 15-week curriculum. Students will participate in one 30-minute private lesson and one 50-minute group lesson each week. All students taking private lessons for the first time must fill out the First Time Student Application. Once you're registered, our Piano Facilitator will get in touch with you regarding times, days and dates of the group portion of the program. Your instructor meanwhile will coordinate with you regarding private lessons.
