Course Description

One of the top ten workplace injuries reported by OSHA are related to fall hazards. In the construction industry, the most common causes for injuries typically involve ladders, roofs, tops of equipment, scaffolds, and other elevated work surfaces. This course will examine the various types of fall hazards, and include details on how to identify them. It will also offer information on best safety practices, to include ladder safety principles. The course shares current OSHA’s Fall Protection Standards on principles to follow for protecting workers.
