Course Description

If you’ve always longed to blend words and music to create your own songs, this class is for you. Dig into the craft and artistry of songwriting using piano/keyboard or string instruments and singing to develop your songs. You’ll explore what makes songs powerful, expressive, enjoyable, and attractive, and then apply such knowledge to your ideas and turn motivation into music that can be shared. You will create your songs while assisted by a professional composer. If there is insufficient enrollment in the class, it will be canceled. Participants may then request to sign up for private lessons.
