Learn to Fly!

Course Description

Interested in becoming a pilot? This aviation class covers aerodynamics, weather, regulations, and flight controls. Students will visit DuPage Airport for hands-on learning, including aircraft systems, ATC tours, and flight simulators. This practical course offers FAA 141 credit or a memorable experience and prepares you for the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam. Students must be 16 years or older to attend class.

Notes

For in-person classes, students may purchase these required course materials prior to the first class: 1. Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, 2. Airplane Flying Handbook, 3. FAR/AIM, 4. E-6B flight computer, 5. Private Pilot Written Exam Test Preparation Guide, 6. Chicago Area VFR Sectional Chart and Course plotter.
