Course Description
Develops a rudimentary knowledge of the keyboard and playing skills sufficient to cope with simple, practical situations. Emphasis on tonal notation, harmonization, transposition, sight reading, improvisation, ensemble playing, and basic piano literature.

Levonne Mrozinski earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a Master of Music degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma. She has also done post-graduate work at the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana. Mrs. Mrozinski has served as president of the Northwest Suburban Music Teachers Association and maintains an independent piano studio in Arlington Heights along with her teaching duties for the Community Music Center.
