Course Description

Elephant Toothpaste? Slime and Oobleck? What do these have to do with Chemistry? Chemistry is about relationships that matter. And kids love this kind of matter! They become the chemist mixing and measuring to explore physical and chemical reactions and find out what really causes that explosion! Experiment with different amounts and variables to find just the right reaction; safely explore four states of matter (yes, there are really four), as well as acids and bases; and design your own t-shirt using chemistry.
