Growing up in a family restaurant in 1980s Detroit, amid struggle, cultural shifts, and resilience, offers a unique lens on identity and belonging. Chin’s memoir is a candid, heartfelt reflection on family, community, and the enduring importance of finding one’s place in a changing world.
