Every year, dozens of workers die and thousands more become ill while working in hot or humid conditions. While much attention is given to outdoor work, millions of workers are exposed to heat stress conditions in indoor work/confined space environments. You will learn how to recognize, evaluate and control sources of heat stress, and special precautions necessary when working in confined spaces as well as signs and symptoms of heat stress. Protect yourself and others while working in challenging conditions.
