Course Description

This four-session course utilizes poetry and art, ancient to modern, as vehicles to explore how we cope with grief and bereavement in our personal lives and in our world. The instructor has extensive social services experience in end-of-life hospital care, and has trained hundreds of medical, nursing, and social services staff on the sustenance we can draw from poetry and art while working to support dying patients and grieving families. This course strives for renewal and hopefulness for all, including those struggling with grief, loss, or difficult circumstances.

Class Meets 4 Week on Tuesday (9/10th,17th, 24th, and 10/1/2024.)
