Course Description
This lecture will, consist of two sections, a week apart, and will focus on the 2000-year history of Vatican City, which is located within the city of Rome. It has its own architecture, that includes St. Peter’s Cathedral, and the grand circular plaza that faces the via della Concillia-zione that symbolizes the welcoming arms of the Roman Catholic cathedral. The Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, and its amazing art museums, are also sites to see. However, the empire declined in the 6th century, and The Vatican learned to protect itself from its European pagan neighbors.Course Outline
