Course Description

You may think the word "economics" is all about money, but that’s not true. It may involve money, but most day-to-day life choices have nothing to do with money, though they are still the subject of economics. Each person ultimately makes many economic choices, being efficient about how to spend or budget time and money. That is part of economics, but economics is also about comprehending why we don’t always make the most economical choices. You will learn how economics is about balancing choices and alternatives.
Malathy Chandrasekar is a professor of Economics at Harper College.
