Debut Novel Published by CE Writing Studio Student
Longing to rekindle his passion for writing, Brian took a course from Harper’s Writing Studio, which offers noncredit classes and workshops ranging from poetry to technical writing. Now, he is a published author who recently debuted his children’s novel at Printer’s Row Lit Fest in Chicago.

Sara Lima co-owns Téia Candle Co., Jewelry and Home Décor, which sells organic, soy-wax candles and handmade jewelry. She became an entrepreneur not long after graduating from Harper College’s Career Skills Institute and many years after doctors determined she had a cognitive disability.
