Course Description

In 1347 the Black Death arrived in Europe and quickly spread across Europe. Over the course of the next 300 years, the plague killed about a third of the entire population, because it kept coming back. It became a regular part of life – and death. This class will look at the powerful impact the Black Death had on art as the Renaissance was just getting started. Instructor Ruth Nelson.
