Course Description


Weather has always been a source on conversation throughout human history- and never more so than recently. The storms and extreme weather has put many regions on the planet in peril. What is it that causes weather events? How is it that we can make predictions for weather for the coming season let alone for the weekend! Why do Tornadoes occur? What is a microburst? How are blizzards like hurricanes? Why do some countries have monsoons? How has the weather changed over the millennia? This class will describe conditions around the world and in various seasons that cause our weather!
