Chicago Botanic Garden Tour:
Yvonne Wolf is an outstanding Intercultural Consultant who provides a background of the aesthetics of the Japanese and Chinese gardens.  Discover Confucian and Daoist symbolism expressed in gardens and how they are used to create balance in the exterior world and cultivate inner peace. Learn the cultural history of the East Asian Garden and its carefully composed scenes of ponds, paths, and pavilions. After attending this presentation, you will gain a greater understanding and appreciation of East Asian gardens. This event is in collaboration with Arlington Heights Senior Center.
