Course Description

Do you ever dream of writing for the big screen? Gain an insider perspective on screenwriting, storytelling, and the film industry from an instructor who has read novels and scripts for the literary department of Anonymous Content and worked as a story consultant for screenwriters and producers with projects pitched and sold to major studios like Netflix, Amblin Entertainment, Angel Studios, and 20th Century Fox. 

All levels of experience welcome. This beginner-friendly workshop introduces students to screenplay basics like formatting, log lines, outlines, treatments, first drafts, and more. 

Students who complete this course are eligible to continue in the Advanced Hollywood Writer’s Workshop.
