About your Instructor:

William A. Draves, CAE, has been working from home since 1998, when he figuratively blew up his organization’s national headquarters and sent employees home to work.  Currently his staff live and work in six states, from Rhode Island to Oregon. He gained his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 1989 from the American Society of Association Executives. 

He created a new system for supervising remote workers based on outcomes and results, which he and his staff have been using for over 20 years. With John Allen, he created one of the first virtual offices in the country, where staff gather almost daily for both work and social interaction.  

He has consulted with organizations all over North America on working from home, communicating with remote workers, and managing and supervising dispersed employees.
