Course Description


Landscape photography depicts the breadths that exist within the world, which are at times infinite and vast and at other times minute. While landscape photographs depict the existence of the natural world; they also emphasize man-made elements or disruptions in the landscape. People take photos of a landscape to recall a personal observation or experience while outdoors or traveling. It also brings them closer to nature and the elements, or to escape the artificial world.

This is a blended class where some classes are in the field, and some are online. The instructor selects meeting times and locations of field photography and will be communicated to and coordinated with students. The dates for the online lectures are Monday 5/29, 6/12, 7/3, 7/17; the dates for field photography are 6/5, 6/26, 7/10; see full details below:
