Course Description


Join us for an exciting course designed for young vocalists, where we will explore the vibrant worlds of musical theatre and classical voice! This immersive program offers students the opportunity to develop their solo singing skills through a blend of engaging workshops, hands-on vocal techniques, and performance practices. Participants will learn to express themselves through song while gaining confidence in their vocal abilities. Each day will feature warm-ups, breath control exercises, and repertoire selection, culminating in a showcase performance that highlights each student’s unique talent. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will also delve into the fundamentals of stage presence and character interpretation, ensuring they leave with not only improved vocal skills but also a deeper appreciation for the art of singing. Whether you’re a budding performer or looking to enhance your skills, this course promises to be a fun and enriching experience! All materials are provided. 
We will dive into vocal technique and music theory as we learn the ins and outs of vocal training. We will learn the similarities and differences between opera, choir, Broadway, and solo performance; all are based on classical technique but with different expressions. Each day will focus on one aspect of vocal production and study/discuss a notable singer's technique.
