Course Description

Enjoy a creative and meaningful experience with your spouse, grandchild, or a close friend! In this class, you’ll make lasting memories while creating beautiful pottery pieces on the wheel that can be cherished as keepsakes. Over the course of eight weeks, we’ll begin with two sessions focused on handbuilding, then transition into six weeks of wheel-throwing basics and glazing. Join us on Friday evenings for a fun blend of learning, creativity, and connection!

Each participant is required to register separately using their own email address.

The instructor views the paired students both as individual artists, each working at their own stations, and as collaborators sharing a single station on certain projects. She envisions children and adults exploring the wheel independently while coming together for handbuilding and glazing activities.

Each design choice becomes a dialogue that nurtures trust and strengthens the pair’s partnership.

The course shifts the mindset from a traditional "Teacher–Student" model to one of "Team Learning."

Projects are designed with multiple levels of complexity.

This approach encourages creative growth, builds trust, eases the pressure on any one individual, and creates space for each student to experiment freely without fear of failure.
