Course Description

These two sessions introduce eight statements that enable a person to better understand religious terminology and methods for examining world religions—including, of course, one's own tradition. The topics include concepts such as metaphor as religious language, religious mystery vs. religious truth, God as unknowable yet known, individual religions as closed systems, and the fact that all religions have been unfair to women.
