Course Description

This course introduces you to German literature across genres and eras while building advanced language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will explore the German-speaking world through diverse types of texts and practice discussing literature in German. Texts are selected based on students' interests. Co-listed with credit course GER 210-XC1.

This is a flex course, meaning you may choose to attend class in-person and/or online live. Flex class sessions take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30-1:45pm in L-323 and online.

You may choose your best way to attend class, but you're encouraged to attend in person, if possible. Your computer must have reliable internet access, a web cam, and a microphone, if you choose to participate online. These sessions will be recorded and made available for your review.
