Course DescriptionMany of our favorite films, cartoons, and music videos were birthed out of the ideas of a storyboard artist and that artist’s pitch and presentation. Join us and learn how playful imaginative thinking combined with drawings/sketches, industry techniques, and an energetic pitch can turn into the worlds next huge entertainment extravaganza. Supply List
This course focuses on the film industry standards on how a storyboard and scene pitch should properly be executed. The course is not a drawing course but more of a storytelling course, where students use visuals to create sequential art meant to be shared in a motion medium at its end.
Students will gain an understanding of industry practices while learning how to combine their imagery to make sequential art that tells a story. In the end, they will have the opportunity to pitch their scene to their instructor and peers and close with taking home a digital copy of their storyboard sequence.
