Course DescriptionGot Git? Have you heard of websites like GitHub or BitBucket? Does your current job depend upon valuable version control of documents or software projects? Git is the most widely used version control system in the world. It is an open source software system originally developed by the creator of Linux. In this crash course, students will become familiar with the basic principles, features, and commands of Git that are increasingly practical in today's world. Prerequisite: No programming experience is required, but Bash or MS-DOS command line knowledge is useful.
