Course Description

This American Heart Association course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies. Learn to assess an emergency situation and manage the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Learn to care for bleeding injuries, sprains, broken bones, and how to perform life-saving skills. This course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Heartsaver® First Aid card that is valid for two years and meets the OSHA standard for first aid training in general industry. This course is not intended for clinical healthcare professionals.
