Course Description

The blues is the foundation for rock ‘n’ roll, hard rock & heavy metal. Plus, it’s a gateway for learning some great guitar techniques transferable to even more musical styles. Guitar instructor Gerry Clark shows you core blues concepts, such as the standard 12-bar blues form, blues & pentatonic scales for improvising, and techniques such as bends, double-stops, vibrato, and slide/bottleneck.
