Course Description

Though declassified in 1968, the story of the Navajo Code Talkers remains little known. Often overlooked in history books, their vital role is overshadowed by larger WWII narratives. Nez’s memoir offers not just a war story, but a powerful account of resilience, identity, and a life richly and honorably lived. Discussions are hosted by Harper College Library’s One Book One Harper program and held in-person at the Library.  Please contact Christine (ckuffel@harpercollege.edu) (847.925.6859) with questions, or to register.
