Course Description

This course explores essential resources available to pilots, effective use of onboard equipment and avionics, and the importance of clear communication. Gain practical tips and techniques to enhance in-flight efficiency, improve situational awareness, and optimize cockpit operations for safer, more confident flying.

Learner Outcomes

Provide quarterly courses to assist pilots with maintaining pilot knowledge proficiency and enhance current aviation knowledge.

Notes

Each class will feature an analysis of aircraft accidents and how they relate to the topic being discussed, with a focus on prevention strategies. Lessons will also incorporate application of the PAVE model to support trip planning and effective risk assessment. All course material is eligible for credit in the FAA "Wings" program.
