Course Description

This one-day intensive workshop will explain the basic elements of what funny is (and isn't) for anyone who wants to add humor to their spoken or written presentations. Many corporate and business presenters must speak in public as part of their job and never receive even the most basic training on techniques or structure, much less humor.

Don't let fear or stage fright win before you start!

This one-day intensive workshop will explain the basic elements of what funny is (and isn't) for anyone who wants to add humor to their spoken or written presentations. Dobie has been a touring comedian and morning radio host across North America since 1985.

Dobie offers a big-picture view of when and how to add humor (and when to leave it alone), but more importantly, he can offer individual attention and a personal critique to anyone who may be interested in receiving feedback from a professional who has decades of experience in the business of being funny.

You will see and hear examples from professionals in addition to being able to ask questions and get answers to your most pressing questions.

The podcast can be heard at www.thefunnypodcast.com, and all are welcome from any experience level.
