Course Description

This badge will provide quarterly courses to assist pilots with maintaining pilot knowledge proficiency and enhance current aviation awareness. The badge requires completion of four courses: Convective Activity and Pilot Actions, Wintery Weather Operations (performance enhancements and hazards), Aircraft Systems from Simple to Complex and Cockpit Resource Management for Dual and Single Pilot Operations.

Each class will include aircraft accident analysis and prevention as it relates to the topics covered. Each class will include application to the PAVE model for trip planning and risk assessment.

All material may be credited towards the FAA "Wings" Program.
