Course Description

This class will provide a basic understanding of 3D design, 3D printing and CNC machining and safety procedures involved. You will have a chance to not only learn about the manufacturing process, but also experience the steps of creating and completing a project. You will also learn the basics of CNC machining and how to properly and safely set-up a CNC milling machine and produce a part on the machine. The goal of this camp is to introduce the manufacturing process and shop safety, educate you on equipment, and provide step by step guidance on how things are created in the lab.
