Course Description

Are you passionate about conservation, sustainability and environmental protection? Have you ever questioned the ways that people use the natural world or even how people should be nurturing or relating to nature? Ethics is normally involved with helping us to navigate right and wrong and live cooperatively and peacefully with others. In this program we explore the various ways that people and cultures relate to animals and nature. We’ll examine our own attitudes and assumptions and ultimately seek to define a workable code of environmental ethics for ourselves. Bring your ideas, your curiosity, and questions for an open-ended discussion. Meet at the Spring Valley Nature Center.
