Printable InZone Packet
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited that you have chosen to be a part of the 2026 InZone program. This document includes important program information.
Due to construction projects on campus, there will be two Pick-up and Drop-off locations for all InZone camps this summer.
- Parking lot #3 in front of the Avante building for all classes except those scheduled in building M or an outdoor sports program.
- Parking lot #1 for classes scheduled in building M, Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center.
- The map below outlines the drop-off and pick-up locations. The arrows symbolize the flow of traffic. The purple areas are drop-off and pick-up locations. The red areas are construction fencing.
- Please drop-off no earlier than 20 minutes before the start of class. Program Aides are positioned throughout campus before class and during any transition period to guide students to their destinations. If you need to drop-off on campus earlier than 20 minutes at the 9:00am class time, we recommend registering for the Before Care program.
- Guardians are welcome to personally escort their child to the class location. However, to do this, all vehicles must be parked in a parking lot and not along the curb. See the map at the end of this document for more information. If you are picking your child up from the classroom and are not there when the class ends and the doors open, your child will be escorted by an InZone program aide to the pick-up area in front of parking lot #1 or #3 based on where they are scheduled. They will be supervised until they are picked up.
- If you have multiple children attending the program with separate drop-off locations, we ask that you drop them off separately at the location that aligns with their scheduled class.
- At pick-up time, if you have multiple children ending their day at separate pick-up locations, we will bring the children ending their day by parking lot #1 to parking lot #3. Guardians should pick up all children from lot #3 in these cases.
- Parents are responsible for timely pick-up arrangements each day.
- Please note that Harper College policy specifies that children of all ages must be supervised at all times. Children are not to be on campus unless accompanied by an adult or registered for InZone programs. Before and After Care is available for morning or after camp supervision. Enrollment minimums are required for these programs.
Waivers
All campers must have a signed release form returned to InZone prior to the start date of a class in order to participate. The link to complete the waiver is below. Please include as much information as needed. https://harpercollege.formstack.com/forms/inzone_waiver
Only one waiver per child is needed for the summer, if you have already submitted a waiver for 2026 you do not need to submit again.
Attendance
Attendance is taken daily in all our programs. Parents should report absences by 9:15 am. Calls will be made to guardians for any unreported absences.
Please contact Ben Maurer at 847.925.6941 or email either of these addresses: mb01618@harpercollege.edu OR inzone@harpercollege.edu if your child will be absent.
Advance notification of absences is acceptable and encouraged.
Running late or need to pick up a child early? Please email inzone@harpercollege.edu or call 847-925-6941 with the child’s name, time of arrival or pick-up time and InZone staff will meet you at the drop-off/pick-up location to take them to class or drop off with you. Staff will confirm which pick-up location based on the child’s schedule.
Course Schedules
Course schedules can be accessed for your child by logging into their individual account in the Community Education registration system. Once you are logged into the account, go to the My Course Schedule in the left column and select Agenda in the center of the page. Hover over the specific course and a box will appear with details such as scheduled building and room location. We recommend printing the schedule so the children have a copy on the first day of the session. Print the schedule close to the start date of the session for the most accurate room information. If we do have to change the room location just prior to a class beginning, you will also receive an email from InZone staff.
Inclement Weather Policy
During inclement weather, InZone staff will coordinate with the Harper College Police to ensure safety on campus. In situations of heavy rain, lightning, and severe storms staff will move children to the safest possible location according to the guidelines of the Harper Police Department. When these situations occur during a pick-up time, the InZone program will be in lock-down mode inside of the Avante building or building M.
Both locations are near the pick-up areas. We ask that during these situations parents come into the building to pick up their children. Children will not be released outside during lock-down mode without a guardian present.

The Cockrell Dining Hall on the first floor of building A will be serving lunch for students interested in purchasing their lunches on campus Monday-Friday. An idea of menu items in the Cockrell Dining Hall include:
